【Abstract】 The demand from health conscious consumers had lead to emergence of various functional foods.Prebiotic can modulate the human gut microbiota and improve the host health.The research on prebiotics had been more than ten years.Better understanding on the benefits of prebiotics had urged a need for invention of new sources of prebiotics.This paper reviewed the potential of mushrooms as a source of prebiotic with explanation on its concept and application. 更多還原
